Saturday 10th Feb, Alex managed to break his leg earlier today and has a lovely spiral fracture of his left tibia when some timber at the house build falls on him! I blame the father!

A little sorry for himself but bearing up well helped by Ollie buying him a new CD with his favourite track on, "bones" by the Killers!!

Fracture clinic next week and then he gets to choose a different colour cast. Watch this space.......

Hmmm. Try again. Technology, eh?

Nice one Alex. I've never broken a bone so I don't know how painful it is, but I'm sure you're managing bravely. Bones are made of calcium which is found in great quantities in ice cream. I'm no doctor but, if I were, I'd definitely prescribe ice cream. X

Hello Alex - I've never broken anything either but I always wanted to so I could get everyone to sign my plastercast. Please draw a smiley face on it from me.
I like your favourite song too - the Killers are good. Happy icecream eating love Sophie xx

well - now is the time to have that close loving attention from everyone who comes to see you. Remember the heaviness of lifting your leg ( make the old face really screwed up so that everyone realises the terrible agony you are in.) I have to say I remember having a broken leg (happened playing badminton) and getting it kicked on the London underground - very painful. Now Alex- make sure that when everyone comes to see you there is that wonderful smile of welcome on your face ( but quickly make it disappear as the terrible agony of your leg takes over) so that you get lots of sympathy and presies. Nain sends you a big hug ( mind you you are going to have to wait until November before you really get it - I suppose Nain expects you to keep your arms wide apart until then. Love
